A Guide to Helping a Woman Love a Beard

Updated: Nov 2, 2020

Most of you bearded men have heard it a million times..... "You need to shave that thing off of your face!" As a barber I can't even count how many times a wife has tagged along with her husband to the barbershop and TOLD me to just shave off his beard. (P.S. This drives us NUTS, because we do what the man in the chair wants.) But the #truth is most of the time it isn't the beard that women hate, it's prickly kisses, scratchy cheeks, the dried food that didn't quite make it, her man looking like he's given up on appearance because she's stuck with him anyway, ect. So if your lady has complained about your Chin Warmer, Fine Tassel, Grass Grin, or Lip Sweater, keep reading because I'm going to give you the tips and tricks you need to put those wild whiskers into submission.

Disclaimer: This post won't guarantee that your woman is going to completely fall in love with your beard (some women are just wired that way) but I'm positive if you follow these tips, she WILL hate it a little less!

1. Comb That Sucker Out!

If you are like most guys than your beard is pretty curly! Curls get tangles!! You should be combing out your beard at least once per day depending on length. This will keep your Lip Foliage from getting matted and making you look like you have spent 45 days in the mountains with nothing but a pocket knife and a piece of flint. (This may sound cool, but men don't need a woman when they are surviving in the mountains alone.)

2. Your Beard Needs a Special Soap and You Need to Use It!

You wouldn't use harsh soaps on your hair, so why would you use them on your beard? Bar soaps intended for your body are drying for the hair (including your beard). This is what gives your beard that Brillo Pad feel that woman HATE! Most beard companies have special soaps that are formulated for your beard and face. Here at our barbershop we LOVE #Suavecito Beard Wash which cleans and protects the beard and skin while making the beard easier to style and shape. You also need to cleanse your face rug regularly, they don't call it a crumb catcher, or cookie duster for nothing and don't get me started with runny noses in the winter. Women don't want to put their lips in all that, trust me fellas keep it clean.

3. Condition, Condition, and Oh Yeah, Condition!

In order to get that soft, touchable face hair that your lady, dare I say may run her fingers through, you have to condition like crazy!! Beard hair is the driest darn hair so you have to unfortunately supplement the moisture with product, and be consistent. The up side to this is most of the beard conditioners, balms, and oils smell AMAZING!! So depending on how dry your facial man rug is, you have a few options.

Slightly Dry: You can probably just use a beard oil and get away with it.

Moderately Dry and/or Itchy Face Underneath: You need to use a leave in beard balm and oil. (You can get a lot of the beard balms with a bit of hold as well to help maintain the beards shape all day.)

Super Dry Beard and Face: You need the trifecta! You are going to want to get a beard conditioner for in the shower that you rinse out, the beard balm we mentioned above, and a beard oil.

Once again we love our Suavecito Beard Care Products at the barbershop! You can also get it online, the link is below.

4. Trim Regularly, Even If You Are Growing Your Beard Out!

Fun fact; beards get split too! If you don’t trim your whiskers regularly than your Face Forest will become a tangled mess of breakage! Keep it looking good by getting a good trim at least once every 6 weeks. Added bonus your beard will also grow more evenly without all the breakage.

Recommended Beard Trimming Schedule

* Every time you get a haircut from your barber, get your beard trimmed and shaped up. If you've never had a Hot Straight Razor Face Shave, you should try that out on your face where it is hairless around your beard. It makes your beard look crazy good and sharp!

* Maintain your barbers work at home in-between visits with a pair of beard trimmers and a scissors at home. You can find trimmers everywhere but I will leave a link below to where you can find some really good ones online. Just clean up the edges and nip any wild hairs that sprout out.

I hope these tips help you with your wild chin whisper and I hope that special woman in your life ends up loving it just as much as you do but at the end of the day if you follow these tips and your she still hates your beard, man we are sorry about your bad luck she is just destined to be a beard hater. I BET YOU LOOK AWESOME ANYWAY THOUGH!! Thanks again for reading!

Jenn

I used the service of this 'Hackspy-lord, when I suspected my husband of infidelity and had no proof to confront him, as he does most of his social activities secretly and denied never to have cheated on me. I reached out to a close friend and she introduced me to Hackspy-lord on 'hackingloop6@ gmail. com, text or whatsApp him also on + 1(4 8 4) 5 4 0 - 0 7 8 5. He explained how he would grant me access to my husband's phone without any traces. Of course I was skeptical at first but I had to erase the doubts so I went through with the process and he delivered giving me access to old texts and incoming…
