OUR STORY
Everyone always asks about our name. When Big Fish opened in 2014 by Jennifer Winkelman there were a lot of salons in the area and Jenn wanted the guys to know this was a place for them. A good old fashioned barbershop! Growing up on the Osage River, Jenn found a love of fishing! (Crappie is her favorite!) This love of fishing and knowing that the guys coming to her shop would get "hooked" the first time lead to the name Big Fish Haircuts!
You'll have to come in and find out for yourself what really makes this Barbershop stand out from the rest!
Jennifer Winkelman
Jenn is the owner of Big Fish Haircuts and has been cutting hair since 2005. She started out in a woman's full-service salon but after 5 years realized she was in the wrong place! She then ditched the salon and started working in a men's only shop and never looked back! Her favorite cuts are military styles, flat tops, and kids cuts.

Gena Wright
Gena has been cutting hair since 1992. She started out in a woman's full-service salon but once she found Big Fish Haircuts in 2017, she realized the Barbershop is where she was always meant to be. Her favorite thing to do behind the chair is shaving.
